(via Preview: Satellite Sam #1 - Comic Book Resources)
I probably don’t need to be writing about comics in detail for the sake of professionalism. It would be weird, I think. There’s one comic I definitely need to write about (I said I would), but for the most part, I’m tip-toeing. I don’t want to be the “I know something you don’t know” guy because that guy could get punched in the neck, but I don’t want to hide my enthusiasm, either. I’m still figuring out what professionalism means (there is no guide, there is no hope, we are all lost), but listen: Satellite Sam comes out this week. It’s Fraction, it’s Chaykin, and even if you just looked at this preview, you can see that it’s good.
It’s got rhythm, and I mean that literally, not just in some kind of weird complicated complimentary way. I mean that when I read this preview, I hear the action on the page going bam-bam-bam-bambambamBAM, like the run-up to the breakdown of a song. Seen?
